In fact, it’s down to one of the most basic human emotions: fear. <\/font><\/p>\n

And: the dollar is the major driver. Because the dollar has been sliding after the US sub-prime crisis set US interest rates heading downwards, gold and oil futures, which are priced in dollars, appear more attractive to investors outside the United States because they “get more for their money”.<\/font><\/p>\n
